Wild Turkey Master’s Keep Releases List

Wild Turkey released it’s first Master’s Keep edition in 2015 with the name “Master’s Keep” and “aged 17 years” in the current title area on the bottle, so it is often referred to as the batch named “17”. It was well received and they have released a new Master’s Keep once a year, every year, since then.

Some Master’s Keep releases are bourbon, some rye, some a blend of 2 or more bourbons, and at least one is a blend of bourbon and rye. For some reason, the 2017 batch was only released to the Australian market. All other batches have been available and release in the US.

The proofs have ranged from 86.8 (the first batch) to 109 proof. The release size is rumored to have varied from about 10,000 to 25,000 bottles depending upon the year. MSRP (2024) is $275.

Eddie Russell has said this about the Master’s Keep series, “Each release in the Master’s Keep series has been a salute to stories in our history, to other whiskies we’ve made, and even to other styles of spirits that I happen to enjoy.”
